I did actually see quite a few baby baobabs, but I think they had been planted by people in the place we were staying (Blue Ventures HQ, Andavadoaka).

If humans interfere with the natural population by deliberately planting and caring for some baobabs when they're young, I wonder in a thousand years if they'll be *truly* enormous? (Of course, someone might change their mind and bulldoze them out before then.)

(came via @BoraZ's twitter feed)Danna Staafhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10187299641549075487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7109690335759612294.post-45692126998979051892012-02-02T00:24:03.482-08:002012-02-02T00:24:03.482-08:00Glad you think so, and welcome to the blog!Glad you think so, and welcome to the blog!weavers&whatnothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04271558799390216825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7109690335759612294.post-64734274008847794712012-02-01T09:31:00.266-08:002012-02-01T09:31:00.266-08:00Very interesting!Very interesting!Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12589473046882217457noreply@blogger.com
